2012 Five Most Expensive Sales in La Canada

 
 






The most expensive sale of 2012 was this 5 bed/11 bath Cape Cod estate that sold for $7,400,000 today after 299 days on the market. Last year it was previously listed for $9,900,000 and was on the market 96 days before it expired. This 10,664 square foot home featurtes a library room, music room, gym, billiard room, wine tasting room, pool house and media room. The 1.5 acre lot also includes a pool, spa, private vineyard, putting green, batting cages and sports court.





This 5 bed/7 bath Flintridge estate sold for $6,778,888 in March after 703 days on the market. The home is 11,700 square feet with a 85,813 square foot lot (2 acres). The home was originally listed for $7,950,000.



 
 
 

 
 
This 7 bed/8 bath Georgian Colonial estate sold for $3,412,500 in April after 107 days on the market. The home has a 8,555 square feet of living space and includes a library, media room, game room and even a gift wrapping room. The 39,030 square foot lot also includes a putting green, pool, stream and sports court. This home was on the market a very long time! This year when it was originally listed it was priced at $4,950,000. Previously in 2011 it was listed for $4,950,000 and was on the market 868 days before the listed expired.


This 3 bed/5 bath Cliff May home sold for $3,250,000 in November after 285 days on the market. This 4,251 square foot Flintridge hacienda has an indoor pool and spa, library, courtyard and putting green. This home was originally listed for $3,990,000.



This 5 bed/6 bath Mediterrean estate sold for $3,100,000 in October after 205 days on the market. Originally listed for $3,750,000, this 5,618 sq ft home has beautiful views of the Foothills and Catalina Island.
